In 2011, Cassie decided to tie the knot. Having grown up on the doorstep of Glacier National Park and with a love of the great outdoors, she thought it only fitting to find a venue close by. After realizing there weren’t many options around the Park, she chose her family ranch to host her wedding. It was a beautiful venue that she will cherish forever.
One year later, after being inspired by her own experience in search of a wedding venue, and being in the unique position of owning a small raft company resort, operating just outside Glacier National Park, Cassie and her partners decided to build Park View Pavilion. It was their “field of dreams” moment. If you build it, they will come. They were correct. Since its completion in 2013, Park View Pavilion has had an incredible reception with well over one hundred beautiful and unique weddings.
In 2017, Glacier Homestead was acquired a few short miles from Glacier Raft Company. While not originally intended as a wedding venue location, that quickly changed once word got out of its intimate setting, mountainous views and rustic charm.
Glacier Raft Company has always been in the business of helping others create long-lasting memories in one form or another. Whether it be rafting the Middle Fork, teaching fly fishing for Cutthroat Trout or providing comfortable lodging next to the Park our staff loves helping others experience the wonderful natures of Montana. The addition of weddings seemed like a natural fit. What could be better than witnessing two loved ones, two families, becoming one.
After having her own Montana dream wedding in 2011 Cassie along with her husband and business partners decided to take a leap of faith and built Park View Pavilion. The goal was always to provide a memorable experience for couples looking to tie the knot among one of the most beautiful places on earth with a friendly and helpful team to guide them along their planning journey. After growing up in this area and then spending eight years on the east coast for college and other careers, Cassie appreciates and loves sharing this wonderful place.
When Cassie is not at work you will find her loving on her two sweet little boys, drinking a cup of chai tea, spend an early morning at Crossfit, or enjoying the beautiful rivers. She is also the President of the My Montana Wedding Association.
While Amy covers most of the details Cassie is always available to answer questions, do tours, and lend a helping hand.
If you are getting married at Glacier Raft, Amy is going to become your best friend. Our wedding and event coordinator hails from California where she traded 6 lanes of traffic for the quiet trails of Glacier National Park.
You’ll pick up her California roots anytime the weather dips into the negatives, but she wouldn’t trade a Montana summer for anything. She loves hiking, milk, and sugar with a touch of coffee and could even teach you how to clog.
When you book your wedding, Amy will use her extensive wedding coordinating experience to plan your perfect day. Her knowledge of weddings and ability to work with other vendors has made her an invaluable asset of Glacier Raft weddings and we’re glad she calls this her home.
